In house training
If you wish, we or one of our partners can provide training, tailored to your specific company needs, or a facilitated workshop for a particularly problematic issue you are dealing with. This can be done at your premises or at ours. For many of our clients this has turned out to be a very simple and cost-effective option.

RMMC
Every year we organise the Risk Management Master Class (RMMC). In a comfortable hotel near Amsterdam we invite a number of internationally renowned speakers who will provide the latest insights to the participants in a very interactive setting. For more information on this years RMMC, click here.

Safety culture and human behaviour
Dr. Jop Groeneweg of the Centre for Safety Studies at the Leiden University, is the key-note speaker on most of our events. People who have experienced one the sessions with Jop will agree that they learned many new things in a very pleasant and humoristic way.

Risk seminars
Througout the year we organise various 1-day seminars on risk assessment issues. The seminars and workshops are not only designed to improve your risk analysing skills, but they provide you the tools and methods for managing risks and communicating risk issues as well.

Incident investigation seminars
Together with our partner Kelvin TOP-SET® we organise training sessions on a regular basis. David Ramsay is our most preferred speaker in these subjects. His experience spans many years and many companies in many countries.

Software use training
When you decide to use one of our software tools we will discuss with you in what way we can best help you to quickly get started. Of course we offer adequate training materials and references which allow a great number of our clients to get started without any support from our side. Still, there are a number of clients as well who appriciate it very much when we can make their life easier by offering software training. Whe will be glad to offer you a software training module which is customized to your needs. Please feel free to talk to one of the people at Governors about the available options.

Internet training
In order to provide visual and interactive training to all of our customers it is now possible for us to arrange an online training session with up to 8 participants. Thanks to these technologies we can now have a conference conversation while we are looking at the same screen. This way the trainer can explain things and show examples but he can also give the control over the keyboard and mouse to one of the participants. The participants can get some live practise in turn. So far, online training sessions have turned out to be very cost-effective and the enthousiastic reactions have made us decide to put more effort and priority into online training.

Our consultants
Our products & services consultants have various backgrounds. They have become very familiair with the methods and tools we work with and are able to provide basic training and consultancy to help you getting started. They are in frequent contact with our consultancy & training partners and will be glad to advice you in selecting a training and consultancy firm that will fit the needs of your organisation.

Our support engineers
We do not have HSE experts on our helpdesk, but we do have support engineers that are very familiar with the methodological best practices and who are in regular contact with a network of risk management consultants and incident investigators. Our support engineers have methodological white papers and sample files that they can provide to you which will be useful to get started.
